So where did the Eurovision Song Contest taking place this year? Berlin? Frankfurt? Hamburg? No, it was in Düsseldorf. This may be a place known for its airport and its importance as a hub, but what else is there?

The city straddles the Rhine with most of interest to tourists being on the right bank with the Old Town and parks.

If the Eurovision Song Contest is not your idea of Culture then try the Opera House, the Tonhalle concert hall or the Kunstpalast museum of art.
